CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set for another run at some tried and true storylines as we inch closer to the weekend and continue character building for next week.
It looks like everyone’s going to try to trigger others into over reacting or simply challenging them to not be a better person.
It’s going to be interesting to see who takes the bait and who doesn’t, so let’s dive in.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For January 13: Another family feud
With Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) wanted to buy Newman Media, it’s signaled another Newman civil war brewing as it’ll hurt Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
So, Victor Newman (Eric Braden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will set out to put the small brush fires out before they grow into something bigger.
It’s something we’ve seen a hundred times before, but this time they’ll be doing so to help protect Adam from Victoria.
Of course, it could also be early damage control as Victor prepares to sell Newman Media to Victoria, but we may have to wait until next week to find out for sure.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For January 13: Chelsea’s at it again
Some things in Genoa City will never stop, and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will continue to fight for Adam as the Newman aura is impossible to ignore.
In doing this, she’s going to get into another back and forth with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and she’ll do everything she can to push Sally’s buttons.
‘Young and the Restless’ expect this to have to do with the drink she’s going to have with Adam once they return to the table.
She also won’t hesitate in sharing her disappointment that Sally’s going to New York. Will Sally mention Adam’s going too or is she going solo?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For January 13: Ashland remains skeptical
Well, it looks like Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi) is as sold on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)’s change of heart as we are he legitimately has cancer.
But this is potentially bigger than no one ever going with Ashland to the doctor’s office as he won’t let his guard down with Billy.
While it’s possible Billy could be setting him and everyone else up, there wouldn’t be a reason to except letting them think he’s up to something.
Sometimes it’s better to let one’s enemies drive themselves crazy instead of taking part. The question is, how far will Ashland go in his belief?
Will Victor and Nikki succeed in keeping things calm or is Victoria and Adam’s upcoming feud too big for them? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
