Opportunities are the names of the day in Genoa City, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are curious which ones will go south and which ones will survive to try another day.
It’s going to be pretty fun trying to see where it’s all going, but these feel like someone laid breadcrumbs out for us to follow.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For June 8: Newmans disagree
‘Young and the Restless’ have been waiting for some interesting disagreements to happen, and it looks like we’re finally getting one.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) are going to disagree on how to prolong their assault on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), but that’s no surprise.
They rarely agree on anything, and with Adam bucking against Victor’s controlling ways it’s only a matter of time until their truce implodes.
Until then, we expect the exchanges and disagreements to continue to grow in frequency and intensity, but nothing serious will happen until one of them refuses to concede, then the real fireworks will begin.
When this happens, it’s going to be hot enough to pop our popcorn as fast as we can eat it.
A possible side note to this is Adam’s need to attack and destroy Billy could be waning. He did say he wants to be a better person, so maybe he’s resisting Victor’s efforts to pull him back into that world?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For June 8: Summer’s attempt implodes
This is purely our hunch, but we think Summer Newman (Hunter King)’s attempts to bond with Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) are going to hit a brick wall early on.
Summer’s trying to overcome her insecurities, but we have a feeling that Harrison won’t like her for this reason or that.
He accepted Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and called him “Daddy” awfully fast, so why not Summer, too?
Well, he could’ve inherited Kyle’s mentality which would not be a good thing to pass on, but more likely, Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) prepared him to meet Kyle and told him he was his father while they traveled to Genoa City.
If Harrison doesn’t accept Summer, her insecurities will run rampant as she’ll think Tara put Harrison up to this to push her away.
