CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers some characters of the show have to wonder if they wake up each day after dreaming of ways to screw up other people’s lives.
What’s even more amazing about this is ‘Young and the Restless’ aren’t talking about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), or any other vagabond floating around.
Nope, our sights are set squarely on the crowned prince himself, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
The thing is with Nick, he causes mayhem while trying to do what he feels is the right thing, and any responsibility always seems to avoid him lately.
He’s just so good a sewing chaos and mayhem that it seems hard to believe it’s accidental.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 18: Too emotional
Nick is a great guy in many respects, but he lets his passion take control a little too easily.
Last week, he threw Adam out before Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) could really talk with him, and now he’s helped plant some seeds of doubt in Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso)’s mind about Adam.
Rey was already edgy and upset that Adam showed up, and Nick didn’t do much to soothe his concerns.
In fact, going into Sharon and Adam’s history did wonders for stoking Rey’s insecurity despite his claims to the opposite.
He’s not going to waste any time in questioning Adam’s motives for seeing Sharon and will start asking around.
Since he’s a good cop, it’s only a matter of time until he either finds something or someone that’ll blab.
If we were betting, we’d put our money on Nick. He’s on a role, so why not ride him while he’s hot?
Rey’s intentions, while good, will also lead him into an interesting place, as seems to be what happens to everyone in Genoa City lately.
This is going to be fun.
Speaking of fun…
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 18: Man of inspiration
As though he knows he needs to redeem himself, he’s endeavoring to help inspire Phyllis with an idea for another venture.
While this one seems innocent enough as it’s about the perfect getaway for women, how soon until something goes wrong? We hate to be like this, but this is daytime television and Phyllis has earned it.
Our thinking is it’ll be a theme of sorts for the rooms customers can pay a little extra for, or even a night out package of some sort for the hotel.
There are plenty of ways they can go with this, and we’re looking forward to seeing what they are.
