CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 28 Throwback: Katherine Throws An Intervention

While CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers don’t want to get into it too much for those that haven’t seen this episode yet, we’ll just say it may be difficult to watch, but also cathartic in many ways.

Like entertainment is meant to, this peels the layers of being human back and shows the soft flesh and underbelly even the strongest of us have. We all have our moments of weakness when our demons strike, but not all of us make it out of them.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 28 Throwback: Family is all that matters

As is common is soap operas is the idea that the only thing that matters in life is one’s family; that no matter what, we’re there for our loved ones to lift them up when things get tough for them. It’s a great concept and one we all duplicate to one extent or another depending on our circumstances and experiences. We’ll be reminded that it’s not a good thing to walk away from others that are in pain or suffering, especially if they’re family.

It’s a good lesson, especially during times like this pandemic when most of us have our circles tested by exposing the good and bad in those around us. Many have shown themselves to be selfish and toxic, having no problem asking of others while not giving of themselves, and others continue to give no matter what. And then there’s the middle section that has elements of both extremes. It reminds us that we’re all family in one way or another, and to come together in times of crisis to help those less fortunate.

What are your thoughts on the episode? Is it something that’s well-timed or have we heard so much of this over the last month that we tune it out? Let us know in the comments and remember to check back with CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
