CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers indicate that while we’ve been enjoying the Newman drama unfold as Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) decided, with strong encouragement from Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), to fill in for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) as Newman Enterprise’s temporary CEO.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, March 12: Is there a cure in the house?

Of course, with his decision made, Nick gets to celebrate with Phyllis. It makes sense since they’re just friends with just a couple close encounters here and there, but there’s obviously more to them than that.

Like a good disease, Phyllis has already infected Nick and it doesn’t appear that there’ll be any reason for them to stop. What’s worse is Nick was showing signs of being his own man, carving his own niche as far away from his Newman roots as possible. Now, he’s being set up for the big fall as Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) prepares his first move.

With Victoria warning Nick about what could happen, and Adam pointing out how Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) looking over his shoulder, it’s apparent Nick is going to be Adam’s target.

Phyllis may be a welcome distraction and power behind Nick’s decisions, but she could also be the biggest liability the Newman’s have. CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers believe this could end up being the fight of the family and company’s life.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, March 12: Jill surprises Billy

We can expect Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) to approach Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) with a surprise, but what could that surprise be? She already tried offering him a position she created just for him, but Billy refused. Sure it was prideful, but he’s trying to stand on his own. So that narrows the options for what we can expect to… Yeah, this is an overused, over mentioned, and overdone. But that doesn’t mean it won’t be used. The highest rated show for a couple of decades has earned a little leeway, right? Jill never stopped believing that Billy and Victoria are meant to be together, so there’s little chance she’ll accept their being apart for much longer.

But that brings up the question of is this really a surprise? It doesn’t help that the promos are purposely vague to sucker, er, suck us in. As mentioned previously, Jill had wanted to give Billy something to focus on so he wouldn’t lose himself, so maybe she intends to hand over her company to him? It’s a little out there, but still a possibility. At this point, anything is possible in Genoa City, and CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers will be right here with the latest spoilers, updates, and speculation.
