CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that even though new episodes aren’t airing doesn’t mean we still can’t gossip, right? I’ve been thinking about the last few episodes we got, trying to keep it fresh. Surely, they’ll do a big recap once they return, but the more I think about it, the more I hate Kyle Abbott (Micheal Mealor). Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t care much for the character before, but he made me like Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) he was such a giant, well, you fill in the word.
Kyle’s done some stupid things, and antagonizing and getting into with Theo all the time isn’t the half of it. The single dumbest thing he ever did was kiss Summer Newman (Hunter King) in San Francisco. Effectively destroying his marriage to Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). Some people are team Skyle, and that’s fine, I suppose. However, I think he definitely should have stayed with Lola. Here are three vital reasons Kyle should have never left Lola.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Three Vital Reasons Kyle Should Never Have Left Lola
Reason One: Lola is one of the more stable people in Genoa City (or was, until she flew down to Miami), and together they rarely had outside problems. Lola isn’t one to instigate things, nor was she much of a gossip queen. Together they could’ve lived a relatively quiet life in the loud town. Now, Lola’s been looking for a reason to leave, and finally found it with this new restaurant idea. Let’s hope she comes back to Genoa City soon!
Reason Two: Summer is a snake. Just like, you guessed it, her mother! Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is the biggest snake in Genoa City, I don’t care what Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) says! And Summer has been showing a lot of Phyllis signs in her behavior. Especially when it comes to Theo. She’s slimy, worked her way onto a married man on a business trip, and has had an acid tongue to anyone she doesn’t like. Yeah, I’m not a big Summer fan.
Reason Three: We’ve seen this act before. Several times. Why do we ever believe it’s going to work. They get back together, they date, Kyle proposes, they get married, the honeymoon ends, they get divorced. They both see other people, they see how happy they are with the other people, they kiss, rinse, repeat. Although, I suppose that’s the whole concept of the genre, the drama! We’re not allowed to have happy endings, are we? Unless you’re a 40-year veteran, they let you just stay married. Looking at you Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
I’m not happy about Summer and Kyle, and I know some people are, which is fine. Though, I think Kyle was considerably better with Lola. What do you think? Are you a Skyle fan or do you miss Kola? Let us know in the comments below.
