CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers tell that with Dina Abbott’s (Marla Adams) days coming to a close, the Abbott family is pulled in closer to say goodbye to their loving mother. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) both made their way back to Genoa City to say their goodbyes.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has stepped away from Jabot to be by his mother’s side as her health starts to dwindle. Both Ashley and Traci had made their way back to Genoa City as the news began to get more bleak. In the last few episodes, Dina has been unable to remember her own children, Beth and Ashley. This is obviously a trying time for the entire Abbott family – and Ashley and Traci are both having a difficult time coming to terms with their upcoming loss.

However, it seems to be bringing the Abbott’s closure together. Ashley apologized to both Jack and Traci for fleeing Genoa City to go to Paris. She feels as though she left her family in a time of need. It’s undoubtedly been an excruciating time for Traci and Jack.
The three Abbott siblings agreed that it is time that Dina comes home to live out her final days. Unfortunately, she is having a difficult time comprehending much currently. However, the Abbott’s are rallying together to make her final days as comfortable and memorable as can be.
Dina Abbott first began her stint on ‘The Young and the Restless’ in 1983. She was an upper-class woman in Genoa City with plenty of high-class friends. Dina was extremely close with John Abbott (Jerry Douglas), Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) and Neil Fenmore (Jim Storm) – all Y&R alums that we no longer have the pleasure of seeing on the daytime drama.
