CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that star Tyler Johnson (Theo Vanderway) recently opened up about an embarrassing moment that happened to him while on the set of the show. Here’s what he has to say.
In a new interview with Soap Opera Digest, the handsome actor – who is not on any social media platforms – admitted that yes, he has had an on-set wardrobe malfunction that was hard to avoid.
He told the publication, “In the Halloween episode in Jack’s living room, I made the choice to rip the towel off, and did so with such vigor — no big surprise there — that I almost took the bathing suit with me! Fortunately, the [wardrobe] department anticipated this and reinforced the seam!”

In his same interview, Tyler also opened up about some of his likes and dislikes. When asked what was his favorite thing to do during his childhood, he said, “Wander in the woods with a book. I remember seemingly endless days filled with imagination and play; a forest is a magic place.”
Tyler also said that should he be reincarnated, he wants to come back with wings. “I love monarch butterflies. I’ve always regarded them with a certain reverence, and the migration is truly a remarkable feat of nature. The natural world never ceases to amaze!”
For now though it seems as though Tyler’s character Theo Vanderway certainly has his hands full with all of the drama that has been going on in Genoa City. And yes, we have a feeling that there is more to come.
