CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers is here with a fun fan speculation that’s been making the rounds on social media. This one involves Genoa City’s top resident and recently celebrated Victor Newman (Eric Braenen).
Victor recently needed someone to spy on Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to prove to his daughter, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), that Billy was cheating on her. But he never said who, but it’d make sense for him to hire someone familiar with Amanda, right?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Ripley to the rescue
Through his connections, Victor wouldn’t have had any problems finding one Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes), given his network of spies, er, informants. Yeah, informants sound cleaner. Anyway, Ripley would’ve been motivated to find Amanda, so he may have even done it on the cheap. Everyone wins. Well, not quite.
Victoria isn’t in any condition to claim her winnings, though in the long term maybe she will? If CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers’ spoilers for February 21 are accurate, it could bring Billy around to her line of thinking and they end up becoming Genua City’s new power couple. Of course, it’d mean this rumor/spoiler has to be correct. Though it does sound strange enough to have a legitimate shot at appearing on our television screens

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Fallout for Victor
Self-profiling prophecies are the current rage in soap operas, and this would be a doozy. Especially given the week long celebration of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s storied career. It’d force him to acknowledge his overbearing nature and how his own ambition nearly cost him one of the few things he holds dear. It could also force him to question how much he can really control and if he’s capable of being in control anymore. More than that, imagine what Victoria will think if/when she finds out? All of the times she gave her father a pass for what he’s done will slap her in the face like a cold dash of reality. But will it make a difference?
While there’s always the chance that she’ll see him in the same light as Billy, more than likely, Victoria will be angry at her father, but find a way to forgive him because of who he is. Sure, she’ll probably forgive Billy and ask his forgiveness for her believing he’d been unfaithful, but that’s as far as she’ll go. In her mind, Victor can do no wrong even when his selfishness nearly kills her.
Billy Abbott may redeem himself. He may even finally find the peace he’s been searching for. But will he stick around seeing Victoria still refuse to see her father for what he is? This has the potential to be an amazing storyline if they go this route. As a fans of the show, this would be a great way of cementing the next generation in place for the future.
Of course, there are plenty of ways they could go with this. We’ll still tune in and enjoy the benefits of their world. All the while, CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers will be here sharing any updates, spoilers, and speculation we come across.
