CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers tease that there will be two Genoa City residents who will be exploring their options quite soon. As a matter of fact, there’s a good chance that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) might realize that it’s time to forget her wayward and cheating ex Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), as fans are hoping that she moves on with a new love interest. And who might that love interest be? While none other than the very handsome and very passionate Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Here’s what you need to know.
If there’s one thing that fans already know, it’s that Victoria and Billy have always had a rather toxic relationship. That’s more of a fact than an assumption. And now that Billy has once again walked away from her and the life they shared together, Victoria has been left heartbroken, devastated and alone. She’s trying to make sense of her life and of course, everything that went wrong in her relationship with Billy.

At the same time, Rey is on shaky ground with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), too. And that’s not just because she is dealing with her cancer battle, but because the two of them have always had trust issues. Sharon is a fighter and she wants to do all of this alone. She doesn’t need nor does she want Rey hovering over her all the time, as he’s mostly been a distraction.
With that said, ‘Young and the Restless’ fans are hoping that Rey and Victoria hook up sooner rather than later. They briefly shared a moment a few months ago and while they are both in very confusing times in their life right now, there’s a chance that their heartache might bring them together. At least, that’s what viewers are hoping for. Fingers crossed!
