Nothing like a serious illness to bring everyone together in Genoa City, and it’s going to be an emotional few days or weeks as CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers prepare the sandbags.
We’re going to grab some comfort food as this is going to be a rough patch for a while and they’re going to push the feels envelope further than they have recently.
At least, that’s the feeling we have given their near misses lately. They need a hard hitting storyline, and this may be what’s intended as.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For March 23: Rey’s turn
After everything they’ve been through, it’d be nice if Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) had a smooth patch.
But then this wouldn’t be daytime television and the powers-that-be would miss out on all the glorious perfect moments they can create to milk this out for months and they don’t anyone’s eggs or bad decisions to enhance it.
Instead, Rey’s got an illness that potentially has him at death’s door and everyone is going to come together to help him to the best of their abilities.
With Sharon with him doing everything in her power to help him heal, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will do their part.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For March 23: Two become one
With their personal lives in turmoil because they’re idiots, Nate and Elena are going to force their emotions to the side so they can come together and do what they do best.
While ‘Young and the Restless’ don’t think they’ll get into complications while looking after Rey, this will be the perfect opportunity for them to grow appreciative of each other again.
This could be the beginning of something new between them, or the final crumbling of their relationship if they find it difficult to even work together.
At this point, we expect either or both options to play out.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For March 23: Jack wants answers
After feeling like the odd man out with his son, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will finally have enough of it and he’ll corner Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and push for answers.
We don’t think Jack will be overly harsh or anything like that, but the constant nagging from family and friends about his personal life will be reaching the breaking point.
And we think he believes Kyle’s blowing him off because of his growing relationship with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and he’ll confront Kyle about it and ask him politely to mind his business.
Of course, we know the real reason Kyle’s avoiding talking to Jack, but will he finally open up or will he continue to silently make things worse?
