Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, ‘Young and the Restless’ head writer and executive producer Josh Griffith puts it this way, “Chelsea knows that Adam is out of control and she doesn’t think it’s a good idea for him to be alone. She wants to find Adam and give him all the love and support he needs. The have been through so much together and Chelsea feels they can get through this trauma as a team.”

When Sharon realizes that Adam might have fled to his childhood home in Kansas, she makes a beeline for him. However, when she asks Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) if she can borrow his private yet, she makes a note for him not to tell Chelsea.
Griffith continues, “Sharon believes that Chelsea is too emotional to help Adam. Sharon knows that Adam needs professional help and makes the decision to travel to Kansas to help him.”
‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers say that Chelsea will continue to believe that Adam might still be in Las Vegas. When she finds out that Sharon reunited with Adam in Kansas, she is going to flip, to say the least.
