CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) acting very motherly towards Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Even through all their differences throughout life, Nikki can sit on a couch next to Sharon and console her. I can’t believe the scene and how well it ended. It was nice to see such a great moment between the two and allowed Sharon to finally release some deep emotions she was keeping buried.
This moment is brought to us thanks to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). As we’ve seen, Sharon has continued to push him and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) away. They haven’t been able to figure out why and have felt completely helpless. Even though they want nothing more than to help Sharon. Rey finally does what he has to do. He makes a call, and surprisingly, it’s to Nikki.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Sharon & Nikki Share A Moment! – Sharon Finally Digs Deep
Sharon had sent Rey to work and Mariah out to deal with her Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) problems when she was surprised by the door. Even more shocking was seeing Nikki standing on the other side. Immediately, Nikki asks her why she’s pushing everyone she loves away. This catches Sharon off guard but she lets her in. They sit together on the couch and Nikki gets to Sharon. Through all their drama through the years, Nikki can take anything Sharon has so lay it on her. Sharon finally lets it out!
Sharon explains that there are people who wouldn’t care if she was gone. Her family though loves her. She feels she can’t talk to them about the worst-case scenario or the really scary parts. She doesn’t want to put her fear into them. The fear that they could lose her. In the words of Nikki, she’s tougher than cancer, and so is Sharon! This is a very deep, emotional talk between Nikki and Sharon and they share a beautiful mother-daughter-ish moment. Who knew it would take one of Sharon’s biggest “enemies” to get through to her.
