CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers tease that this might be the end as we know it for one beloved character. As a matter of fact, actress Sharon Case, who plays Sharon Newman on the hit CBS soap, admits that she doesn’t even know what’s in store for her character as she is facing one of the biggest challenges of her life: cancer. While there’s no doubt that Sharon Newman has gone through many ups and downs over the years in Genoa City, she’s never faced anything like this. Even though she has the love and support of her friends and her family, even Sharon doesn’t know what the future holds for her.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Sharon Case Admits That Death Might Be A Possibility For Her Character
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the beautiful blonde actress admits that she was shocked when she finds out about her character’s cancer storyline. That’s because the producers of the hit show did not tell her what was the come or what she would be tackling next in this new storyline she has.
Sharon even old the publication, “For all I know maybe Sharon’s death is the whole plan.” Of course, ‘Young and the Restless fans are hoping that’s not the case at all. While a lot of characters get “shot and killed” and miraculously come back from the dead, that would be impossible for Sharon, especially if she ends up dying from cancer.
With that said, Sharon Case does admit that she is going the best of her ability to make sure that she does her character right while making the cancer storyline as interesting as possible. But as far as what’s to come, ‘Young and the Restless’ fans will have to tune in to find out. Check your local listings for times.
