CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that on Tuesday, June 9, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) were the stars of the episode for Great Romances week! Unfortunately, modern-day Y&R lovers know that Nick has re-fallen back into the arms of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), and rumors have swirled that Morrow has even refused for the Nick-Sharon love to rekindle. However, as this 2001 rerun is played, fans are reminded about the sweet romance in the early stages.

Nick and Sharon are having a beautiful evening of wine and food, and the couple are surely lost in love. Spoiler alert: This will happen and end like 3000 more times over the next 20 years. Though the episode is centered around the happy couple, we get a sneak peek into Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) and his wife, Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell). Cricket is out of town, so Paul allows Isabella Brana (Eva Longoria) to spend the night.

However, trouble is around the corner as Isabelle has been summoned to town by a scheming Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) as an attempt to ruin the matrimony. After all, why would Paul let her sleep there anyways? Bad call, Paul. He gets caught when Christine calls and Isabelle answers. Trouble in paradise. Meanwhile, Billy Abbott (Billy Miller) is being fought over. Don’t they know he is whiney? Mackenzie Browning (Ashley Bouishum) and Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland) are ready to get their hands dirty to win him over.

Honestly, bad call for both of them. After all, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) would end up with him nearly twenty years later AND get stabbed for it. So…don’t get too feisty, ladies. The episode wraps up with Olivia Winters (Tonya Lee Williams) and Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) fighting over custody of their son. Olivia is angry. However, it’s always great to see these two on our favorite daytime drama! What else are you excited to see this week?
