CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) is having a really hard time with everything as well. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is the one going through the cancer, but Rey has done everything in his power to make it easier for her and do whatever she needs. However, no one can ask how he’s doing, because it may feel rude or they don’t even think about him while Sharon as cancer.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) told him before that if he ever needed to vent or talk just let him know. While they are getting along really well, it’s still cool to note that Sharon’s current boyfriend and ex-husband can come together and be so supportive! When Rey goes to another room in Crimson Lights, Nick follows behind and asks how he’s holding up. Rey isn’t doing well.

Nick offers to play pool and grab a beer. Rey actually thinks he might take him up on that offer. Rey has been enduring a lot and it’s tough to be the pillar someone can lean on so much, especially when that person has cancer. Kudos to Rey to be a great dude, and it’s nice to see this side of Nick, the normal helpful side.
Of course, Nick has to take off to see Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), but I hope we get to see more of Nick and Rey on-screen together. It’d be nice to see Rey be able to relax for a while and I think once they started talking about Sharon they’d have a lot to say.
