It looks like we’re going to close out the week with some more plotting, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready to dive in.
Now that we’re able to move on from the repeats, things should get interesting as wagons circle with new of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) staying, but not everything is going to smoothly as there’s always a catch somewhere.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 27: Summer joins the team
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be looking to prepare for when the old Diane comes out, and she’s going to recruit Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) to help urge Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to “do the right thing.”
Phyllis is desperate for Kyle to see Diane how everyone else does, and what better way than to bring her daughter in on the plan?
With Summer working on him non-stop, there’s a chance Kyle will change his mind and want nothing to do with Diane.
We’re curious how things will work out simply to see if Diane really has changed or if this will end with a flat reveal like other storylines have recently.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 27: Not working out
Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) has been having a rough time, and ‘Young and the Restless’ are curious what’s going to happen now.
Our first thought is something fell through with Summer, but since they didn’t agree on anything it seems unlikely. So, it could have something to do with something involving Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) or even her son.
We doubt it’ll be anything major, but it’ll be a hard enough hit to cause her to misstep and maybe even break down a little as her dam breaks and the emotions start to flow some.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 27: Kyle’s guardian angel
With Diane staying in Genoa City, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will take steps to make sure Kyle’s best interests are covered, and that could mean multiple things.
While Diane will be a major concern, trying to reign in Phyllis and keep Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) from doing something to urge the old Diane to return are a distinct possibility.
Of course, there are plenty of other ways Jack can help and we expect him to be really busy shoring things up in case Diane isn’t as reformed as she claims.
