Nothing like kicking off a new week to get CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers jazzed to see what’s coming, and it looks like we’re in for some more potential twists.
With that being said, this looks like another slow burn episode as they’re setting up for their weekly blockbuster, so let’s dive into it and see where things could go.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 2: Digging deeper
With a more focused target in mind, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will plot her next move to torment Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) more to try to get her to crack.
But we don’t see her leaving Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) alone, so she’ll probably work out how to get some more digs in on her as well.
This is going to get interesting, but we have a feeling Sally will insulate herself and Tara will take the brunt of the fall.
But to get that far, Phyllis will pay Eric Forrester (John McCook) a visit to find out more about Sally’s antics.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 2: Sally protects herself
After having her relationship with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) sabotaged yet again by Phyllis, Sally’s going to start working to ensure she’s not going to get caught up in Phyllis’ digging.
She’s been here before, so ‘Young and the Restless’ have every faith that she’s going to cover her tracks so it looks like she was trying to protect Summer Newman (Hunter King).
Whether of not it works or Jack believes her is going to be the question going forward.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 2: Victoria helps Ashland with a decision
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has been there for Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) every step of the way and even convinced him to seek treatment. Eventually.
And now she’s going to help with make another decision and we’re curious what it is.
At the moment, the only thing we can think of is either to go for shared custody of their son despite not being the biological dad, or for the two of them to be married.
It may seem strange that she’d offer marriage of anything like that, but it could be a reason to give him something more to fight for.
This could help him relax more and allow him to focus on healing.
