We’re heading into the final episode of the week with some interesting baggage dangling in the wind, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are curious how things will shake out.
This should be a fun episode as a couple of characters are going to flex their inner strength and take back control of their worlds.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 23: Nikki’s in charge
With things in the Newman household going south fast, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is going to take matters into her own hands and try to solve a problem or two.
Given her recent discussions, ‘Young and the Restless’ expect Nikki to walk in on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) withholding help to Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) to get him to sign.
Victor’s used questionable tactics previously and has been able to rely on other’s loyalty to keep him out of prison or worse, but this time he may have pushed a wee bit too hard.
It’s our belief that Nikki will see that Ashland needs help and call for an ambulance, much to Victor’s agitation. Then she’ll let Victor have it for being so heartless just to screw over his daughter.
At least, we hope Nikki rips into him and puts an end to his current rampage.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 23: Summer sets Tara straight
Keeping in line with this episode’s theme, Summer Newman (Hunter King) will have enough of the problems Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) created and go after Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner).
We think Summer’s going to let Tara know that she knows about her and Kyle’s affair and she needs to stop Ashland from going after them.
She may even inform Tara that whatever they had is over and Tara will agree. As for calling off Ashland, Tara will try to say she doesn’t have any power over him.
Summer won’t believe her, and things will escalate before they finally have a meeting of the minds and come to a sort of peace that’ll involve Summer walking out feeling superior.
This has the potential to be a powerful scene, especially if they decide to work together to stop Ashland. Maybe Tara will be able to feed them information or something along those lines?
