Nothing like closing the week out in style, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready and able to dive into things to clear the way.
We’re going to continue dealing with the fallout from Ashland Locke (Robert Newman)’s perfectly orchestrated death as Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will wrestle with his conscience.
While he’ll have Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) there to help him keep his footing, Ashland’s son is going to have his own hard time.
But Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will do everything he can to protect Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) from the fallout, and it’s going to be a hard time for both of them for different reasons.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For July 29: A mother’s love
Nikki has always been there for her children, and this time won’t be any different as she’ll be at Nick’s side as he deals with the guilt of possibly killing Ashland.
It’ll depend on the autopsy and how lazy the writers are going to be, but it’s probably that Ashland died in the crash. Or as close to it as possible.
This means Ashland could’ve been a live or dead when his car crashed. It also means that since Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) strongly agreed it would be difficult to prove otherwise, he and his security team had a hand in it.
While it was meant to take any blame off of Nick, there is a chance the autopsy will show that Ashland was dead before the crash, though how will be tricky to explain.
It’s obvious Victor isn’t going to be honest with Nick to save his son’s mental anguish because it would make him an accessory, but ‘Young and the Restless’ wonder if the truth will come out and what could it mean?

Parental love will be overflowing in this episode as Kyle will do everything he can for Harrison.
We doubt they’ll want to hide the truth from the boy, but the circumstances behind Ashland’s death and what he did will be something they’ll want to keep from him.

It’ll be hard as Kyle will feel guilty about the restraining order and pushing Ashland to the breaking point, but he’ll hold onto the fact Harrison got to see him one more time and it was a happy time for him.
