CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready for some relationships to be tested, and it should be pretty interesting to see how they work out.
We’ve been surprised as many of the character building episodes of late have had some good storyline moments in them, and this one looks like it’s going to have some more of those.
The writers love to dissect every minute of a relationship, so it’s no surprise we’ll be getting some fun moments to give us some spice.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Dishing out some tough love
We think Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will still be upset over Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) firing Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominik) on a whim.
So it makes it the perfect time for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to give him some sage advice about his sister being the boss and how he shouldn’t lead with his heart.
‘Young and the Restless’ expect there to be more to it, but Nikki’s busy trying to keep the past alive to be a go between unless Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is involved, so she’ll keep it short and sweet.
In the end, Nick will fall into line because that’s what he does. At least, until the next time something blows up and he finally has enough of his dad’s, er, Victoria’s antics.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis makes everything harder
In her typical style, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will continue to keep chipping away at anyone she’s displeased with because it’s more than a hobby, it’s her life’s ambition.
In this case, she’s going to make a few of her typical snarky comments to Sally, and Sally will do her best to take the high road and not get baited into a back and forth with her.
It looks like she’s learned that no matter what, Phyllis is the innocent victim when it comes to these things.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Setting boundaries
Victoria will have more than Newman Enterprises on the mind when she sets clear boundaries for Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) when it comes to the children and when she can say to do something.
Chelsea needs a boundary, but more than that, she needs to abide by Victoria’s wishes this time or things could really fall a part for her. She’s already close to the edge, and one vicious attack by anyone could send her spiraling even more so.
