CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers For April 9 find that the temperature in Genoa City just went up a few degrees and we’re going to see some interesting storylines coming.
Of course, some seem as predictable as usual, but we’re holding out hope things are turning around for the show.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 9: Shocking twist
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) needs a lot of free time to check on his exes and his family, but he’s always made the time to do just that.
It looks like his ambition to be a good father and friend will turn curious when he arrives at Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan)’s to find a surprise waiting.
Whether it’s a good or bad surprise depends on our point of view as he’s going to either discover Chelsea’s gone or catch her in mid flight after Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
It’ll be an interesting moment depending on what the writers want. If he finds her as she’s leaving, he’ll try to get her to fill him in.
If she does, ‘Young and the Restless’ think he’ll back her 100% in her endeavor against Adam, so long as he doesn’t find out she poisoned Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).
He may even help her. But if he does learn she poisoned Rey, will he accept it as a reasonable move considering Rey’s fine?
And if he discovers her missing, we have little doubt he’ll start calling everyone, including Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) to say she’s gone and that’ll only support Adam’s claims in her mind.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 9: Lauren’s in charge
Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) will intend to sit Summer Newman (Hunter King) down and lay into her about her actions creating problems.
Summer will tell her about what Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) thinks is going to happen and it’ll force Lauren to take control of the situation.
While her first priority will be protecting her company, we have no doubt she’ll also try to protect Summer and everyone else.
This would be a great time for her and the Abbotts to send Kyle and Summer off to open their own company but that won’t happen.
So, Lauren’s going to do what she can and circle the wagons with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to protect their interests and hope the kids learned something from all of this.
Given it’s daytime television, Kyle and Summer will say they did but they really won’t because that’ll limit the drama for future storylines.
