CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that whatever it is about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), it drives Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) insane. Today, he went to go visit her at the hotel and Summer Newman (Hunter King) was there. She knows her parents have been hooking up again and is mortified. She stands with them for a minute while they talk, but it ends with Nick going to Phyllis’ room.
She walks over to the bar and begins making a drink. Phyllis asks Nick if he wants a drink and within like a second he says he doesn’t want a drink at the same time he lunges across to her and wraps his arms around her. They begin making out and he unzips her dress. I don’t know what set Nick off or why Phyllis is so irresistible to him, but seriously, just stop it, please. We’re sitting here watching.

So what does this mean for Nick and Phyllis? Is Nick wanting to give it another go and completely disregard all the times he’s heard that it’d be a bad idea? Perhaps Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) was right, Nick is so high up on his pedestal judging everyone around him he doesn’t realize the dumb things he’s doing.
Just look at his failed marriages, and how he’s revisiting things with Phyllis even though she’s absolutely awful. Perhaps they deserve each other. Nick does a lot of polishing on his turd, but at the end of the day, he’s still a turd. So he and Phyllis may actually have a lot of possibilities together. This would make Billy’s day, and he could finally rock the pedestal hard enough for Nick to fall off. What do you think? Is Nick just a polished turd? Let us know in the comments below.
