CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michele Stafford) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) have been spending more and more time together. They’ve been talking quite a bit lately concerning Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) breast cancer, their daughter Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Phyllis keeps telling Nick how great he is.
Phyllis has been busy with her grand scheme of blackmailing Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) for a stake back in the hotel. Nick doesn’t seem to know what’s going on yet though. Today at the Gala though, they spoke again and even share a kiss! Ugh, we’ve been through this. We understand Nick has probably been lonely since losing Sharon and Chelsea, but this is reaching. He’s better than this.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Nick & Phyllis Kiss – Are We Going With This Again?
Nick and Phyllis have had their time, and share history. They have a beautiful daughter to show off in Summer. Hopefully, this was a heat of the moment thing and not going to do anywhere. Phyllis has been a terrible person, and if Nick knew she was blackmailing his brother, he would be enraged.
So this probably can only mean one thing. I think Nick is like I said, just lonely. Watching a woman he loves suffer from breast cancer in the arms of another man, and seeing Chelsea in the arms of his brother would not be a good place to be. I think in the heat of the Gala, in a romantic setting like the photograph room, Nick saw a moment of weakness. He just wants to be held and loved and Phyllis keeps telling him how special and how great of a father he is. Anyone can imagine how nice it would feel.
