CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here ready to get another fun week of throwback episodes and spoilers ready to share. We continue with one of the truly iconic power couples in daytime television history from October 31, 1981 where Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) — before she was a Newman — having their flames stoked and tested by one of Victor’s oldest friends.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Trick Or Treat

Originally airing on Halloween, CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers think this is a fun episode where we get to enjoy some pre=marriage ordeals between Victor and Nikki as Nikki’s first visit to the ranch brings her face to face with Victor’s old friend, Colonel Douglas Austin (Michael Evans).

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, May 4: A Lifetime In Love Theme – Nikki’s First Visit To The Ranch!

It’s going to be really cool to see the Newman ranch through Nikki’s eyes as she explores and experiences the various delicacies and delights that await her. In many ways, it’ll be like she’s been transported to another world she didn’t know existed. All she has to do is prove she’s worthy. What? She just has to pass a test or two to prove herself. Sure, it may not be easy, but she is marrying into an empire.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: The Game’s Afoot

Of course, this is where Douglas comes into play. As one of, if not Victor’s oldest friend, Douglas has been tasked with testing Nikki to see if her heart’s true and she’s Newman material. He won’t play fair, and she’ll be tempted and be pushed close to breaking, we’re sure. But it’s all for the sake and safety of the Newman empire.

This may seem cruel, but considering the lengths and struggles Victor had to go through to build his empire from nothing, it’s understandable he’s want to make sure she was true to him and not just trying to wiggle in to get ahold of his money and power. This will definitely test their commitment to each other, especially when/if she finds out what the whole thing was about.

Oh, don’t give us that look. We can’t share everything that happens. Where would the fun be if we did that? While this may not be the most comfortable time for Nikki, it’s going to be great to see the three of them interact again. It’s going to be a fun time, so be sure to have plenty of drinks and snacks ready.
