CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here to get the week off to a fun start, and what better way to do that than with one of the most heart warming/wrenching storylines going on?
With everything going on in the Newman world, it’s easy to forget about Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and her battle with cancer. This is probably the best written and played out storyline on daytime television, and it looks to be nearing the end, assuming things go smoothly for Sharon.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 20: Call for help
After her getaway with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), Sharon is expected to reach out to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for help. While this has an element of surprise to it given how Sharon had fought off attempts to help her, it isn’t as Nick was one of the first people she told and leaned on. It’s a curious dynamic as she wanted to protect her family as much as possible, and she’ll rely on it again.
Nick won’t hesitate to come to her despite what’s going on with him. He may have his faults, but he’s usually the first in line to help his friends and family, unless it’s to be the CEO of Newman Enterprises. He’ll do that out of spite. But overall, he’s a decent guy who will work tirelessly to make sure Sharon has all the support she can get from him. This brings us to what she’ll need help with, and ‘Young and the Restless’ Spoiler believe it’ll be along the lines of her wanting to update everyone about her condition and what they can expect to happen.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 20: Gathering of friends
If this is indeed the case, then we can expect Nick to bring all of her friends and family that know of her illness, and possibly those that don’t, for a final update and show of support as she prepares for surgery. This will be one of those cool moments where the characters finds out they’re more loved than they expected when everyone they’ve helped steps forward to show their support. In this case, we expect Sharon to be overwhelmed with the love and gratitude, making this a really cool and toughing scene.
Unfortunately for Sharon, this means her surgery will probably take place this week. It’ll put her a step closer to being rid of her cancer, but it’s still a difficult hurdle for her and many that have undergone this treatment. What’s your favorite storyline so far?
