CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to close the week out with some style, and it looks like we’re going to get a couple of interesting plot moments to get us thinking.
It looks like there’s going to be some changes in the storylines for next week, and we’re curious how things will work out.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 17: Mariah’s decision
After everything that’s been happening, it looks like Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is going to make a decision and it’s probably going to be simplistic on the outside but tear her up emotionally.
Since she feels that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is just throwing her a bone, we think chances are she’s going to decide to move out of the Chancellor estate.
It’ll be her way to trying to get over the baby and find her way again. Of course, this would face some opposition but we think Abby will agree it’s for the best.
Or Mariah could decide to sue for joint custody or something like that. Given how long they drew out the contract aspect at the start, it makes sense it’ll play a role now as this storyline will continue.
With any luck, it’ll end by the time the baby heads off to college.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 17: Abby’s creating concerns
With Abby dealing with her tangled situation, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) are going to be worried about her.
They’ll say how Mariah’s situation was horrible and she needs support, but then they’ll quickly turn their attention back to Abby’s ordeal not having Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) around and having to deal with Mariah.
They’ll be gentle about it, but it’ll open the door for Victor to intervene in some way and probably make things worse if it involves Mariah.
Overall, we expect this segment to be setting up future heartache for Abby when they probably kill off Chance instead of bring the actor back.
This storyline has potential, but after months of having so many Abby centric ones going and having her surrounded by enablers have helped us sour on the character.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 17: Amanda’s surprise
With everything Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) has been dealing with emotionally, ‘Young and the Restless’ think Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will have a special night planned.
She’ll spoil and pamper him to help him forget his problems that’ll help take their relationship to the next level.
We’re waiting for them to decide to have their own children, and this could be the first step.
