CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers indicates that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) may finally be on the right track to win back his wife Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). While he made a big mistake and has not yet succeeded in paying for it, it appears that he is starting to make positive steps.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Big Mistake
Kyle Abbot was totally frustrated with Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) presence at Jabot. He felt that he did not belong in the company. He wanted to find some way to get him out. When Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) asked him to help behind the scenes, Kyle was interested because he felt that it would be successful.
Newman also promised him some benefits in return. He thought it would be a good deal. When he asked Summer about it, she said there is no way that he should work with Victor. Victor is scheming and conniving and there is no way it would be a good idea. While Kyle appeared to agree with her to her face, he went behind her back and worked with Victor any way.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Paying for It
When Kyle‘s scheming was exposed, Summer felt angry and distressed. Her husband was supposed to be trustworthy. Yet he had done exactly what they agreed he would not do. She feels betrayed and upset. While Kyle apologizes profusely, she believes it will take time for her to trust him again. Kyle plans a romantic lunch for them with her favorites. She doesn’t feel that she can forgive him so easily. He can’t just do a few nice things and be trustworthy again.
What helps Kyle is a phone call from Victor while they are together. Kyle tells Victor that he refuses to do any more work with him because it would upset Summer. He can’t be involved anymore with Victor’s plans. While Victor doesn’t usually accept “no” for any answer, he has to respect Kyle’s decision. Summer feels like this is a good sign.
What is behind Victor’s call? Will he really be satisfied with Kyle’s response and leave him alone? Will Kyle be tempted to join forces with him again, or will he be able to stay true to Summer? What do you think? Leave your comments below!
