Things took an interesting turn in Genoa City and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set for some fun aftermath.
This episode looks like it’s going to be about ladies staking their claim, and we have a feeling it won’t go so well for those doing the staking.
Call it a hunch.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis has some explaining to do
It’s been a while since Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) was caught with her hand in the cookie jar, and once again she does it as only she can.
Since Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) overheard her confession, he’s going to want some answers since he already gave her his heart and friends don’t use each other and so on.
Phyllis will try to talk her way out of it and claim Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) pushed her into saying it, but in the end she’ll admit she was wrong.
She’ll also say it came out wrong because of Diane and things should get interesting from that point on.
Jack will be upset after Phyllis did this knowing what he’s been through lately and his semi-active quest to find love.
We suspect he’ll walk out on her and leave Diane looking all the more pleased for a moment.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Diane’s victorious
By all accounts, it looks like Diane’s going to get a win here, but she’ll keep up appearances of the concerned woman she’s been since arriving in Genoa City.
She’ll offer Jack a shoulder to cry on and even apologize for putting him in this situation to begin with.
Jack will give her an earful, but ‘Young and the Restless’ think he’ll mostly leave the Grand Phoenix hurt and depressed, which will set off another round between Phyllis and Diane.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Elena stakes her claim
With Phyllis’ attempt to stake her claim not working out like she’d hoped, we’re hoping Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will have better luck when she does the same.
After Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose)’s latest aggressive stunt, we’re sure Elena’s planning something interesting for her.
Since Imani like to let her intentions be known, there’s a good chance Elena will accidentally/on purpose put Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) in a position of receiving affection with Imani looking on.
It’s tried and true, and it shouldn’t backfire as instantly as Phyllis’ attempt. Later on when Imani has time to plan, that could be a different story.
