CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to close the week off in style as there are plenty of tough decisions to be made and lines to cross to keep us entertained.
This looks like an episode that’s going to need plenty of popcorn to get through it, but we’re going to keep some comfort food handy just in case a couple of plots backfire and leave some favorites scrambling to recover.
Let’s dive in!
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Opposite sides
With Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) gleefully mocking, er, challenging Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Alison Lanier), there’s bound to be some blowback for that and her lies.
Sure, she was right, but as usual, she doesn’t take into account how it’ll affect others and this will put her opposite Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
‘Young and the Restless’ don’t expect Jack to defend Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), but he’ll point out there’s more to the story and Phyllis and the Mean Girls Club hounding her wasn’t needed.
Phyllis will disagree, of course, and she’ll continue to tout that she did it all for the greater good and Jack’s been suckered in.
This could be the end of anything Jack and Phyllis once had, and Phyllis will refuse to see her part in it and go into hardcore denial.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Diane opens up
For this one, we think Diane’s going to sit down with Kyle and possibly Summer to explain why she wet along with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
We expect this to be a good but hard scene as the feels will be out, and it’ll leave Kyle and Summer with all the facts to sort through themselves about how to go forward.
The way things have played out, we believe Diane only wanted to reconnect with Kyle, and she’s definitely become the sympathetic character thanks to the Mean Girls Club.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Tough choice
With the Mean Girls seemingly winning, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will have a tough choice to make about her intentions with Tucker.
There won’t be any doubt that he knows his game is up, so Ashley will have to choose between continue playing him along to find out if there’s anything more to learn or brush him off.
It’ll be interesting to see what she’ll do, but there’s also the problem that she could be gaining interest in him despite her claims otherwise. While we doubt it, anything’s possible.
Is there more to Ashley’s feelings than she’s let on? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
