CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that all the eyes and talk have been on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) lately. They’ve been blaming him for everything but World War II. He needs to change, he needed to do this, he needed to do that. Now, before you get the pitchforks, I get it. He’s done a lot of crappy things. He’s had issues with gambling, alcohol, adultery. It’s a fair argument. He does need to get his stuff together.
However, with all this about Billy, we can only imagine Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) situation will pull him up and make him a better man. We hope. It’s very possible. I don’t want us to overlook something though. Let’s not pretend it was a one-way street. Victoria has done her fair share of belittling and blaming Billy for stuff. I know, unpopular opinion, but her behavior hasn’t been saintly either.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: If Victoria Wakes Up Doesn’t She Have Some Things To Change?
I think we can all agree, Billy is a good father. Sure, he has lapses of judgment but it’s because he feels he’s being held to a higher standard. He’s collapsing under the pressure of Victoria forcing him to do things. That’s not how a relationship works. It’s a lot of give and take, and lately, it seemed Victoria had done a lot of taking. Is what he’s done wrong? Yes. Especially his alleged affair with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).
However, we can’t forget about Victoria. If she wakes up, and Billy professes his love for her, and wants to win her back. She can’t give him a list of things to change without doing some thinking herself. Victoria is not flawless and she needs to accept some responsibility for how she has treated Billy. Again, I’m not excusing any of Billy’s behavior, but Victoria needs to be held accountable as well. What do you think? Am I overstepping or does Victoria need to change some things herself?
