CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that while they might seem like the unlikeliest of couples, it looks like there is a future for Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). In fact, these two might end up becoming a power couple, much to the dismay and surprise of Theo’s nemesis, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Here’s what you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Tyler Johnson, who plays Theo on the hit CBS soap, makes it clear that his character’s intentions are pure when it comes to Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) despite their circumstances. What’s more, his intentions for the young and talented chef are pure. Theo does want to give their relationship a shot and also believes that they are a viable couple.

Tyler explains, “Theo has fallen for Lola in spite of himself. Whether he’s able to transcend his own demons in order to have a relationship with her, we will have to see. But I know she brings the best of out him – all the softness, the authenticity – and the best things in life.”
With that said, Tyler hints that Theo’s next move is going to be a big one. He further explained, “Theo will find a way to make his razzle and dazzle work for him. Theo is theatric by nature, and I don’t see him toning down anytime soon; now that his back is against the wall, I can only imagine more. He knows how to make something out of nothing and he’s been in this position before.”
