    CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that June 15, 2020 marks the great Kristoff St. John’s 54thbirthday. Lovingly known in the soap opera community for playing Neil Winters, St. John passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019. The news of his passing shocked and devastated the daytime television community. As we celebrate the birthday of an incredible actor and man, we remember him for his contributions to ‘Young and the Restless’.

    Kristoff St. John was first introduced as the wealthy and handsome Neil Winters in 1991. Over his time on the show, fans knew him as a successful businessman, loving husband to Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell), and father to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Not only has Neil Winters bee a fan-favorite on the show, but St. John has also won two Daytime Emmy Awards and eight NAACP Imagine Awards for his acting on the show.

    In 1991, Neil was introduced as a trainee at Jabot Cosmetics. He was immediately drawn to Dru, however, found himself in a messy love triangle. Shortly after his arrival in Genoa City, he was followed by his brother, Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore). The two men had a messy and untraditional brotherly relationship. Kristoff St. John was born on July 15, 1966, in New York City; However, he grew up in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He was destined for the entertainment industry as his father was an actor, director, and producer, and his mother was a successful entertainer.

    Over the years, St. John had two marriages and three children, Julian, Paris, and Lola. Before his passing, St. John was known for his animal rights activism and veganism. He frequented PETA campaigns. We would like to send a big happy birthday to the family of Kristoff St. John. He is greatly missed by the soap opera community.
