CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers find that even though filming may be on a hiatus, the lives of our favorite soap opera stars are not! Luckily, our favorite actors have still been very active on social media, with Bryton James, who portrays Devon Hamilton, even launching an app with long-time friend Daniel Goddard (who played Cane Ashby). Despite all this, it looks like Bryton has other great news to share in his personal life: he shares the first anniversary with girlfriend, Brytni Sarpy!
Brytni Sarpy, who plays Elena Dawson, has been a well-known resident in Genoa City since March of 2019. The nurse, who works at the Genoa City hospital with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), quickly found herself hitting it off with Devon Hamilton after she came to town. Despite the rocky start to their romance, Elena was an excellent source of support for Devon after the loss of his father, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John), and the two have seemed to have some romantic success together.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Happy Anniversary, Bryton And Brytni!
After all, Devon Hamilton is a long-time Genoa City resident that has stolen the hearts of several Y&R viewers after he was first introduced in 2004. The couple in real life has been subtle with their online presence, but recently announced their 1-year anniversary of dating.
Brytni Sarpy took to Instagram to share a photo of her and Bryton together with the caption, “Feels like forever and just yesterday at the same damned time…Happy 1-year @brytonejames.” Bryton responded, “To spend one with the One, feels like I’ve won…” which is a powerful and super sappy comment all in one. Does this mean wedding bells are around the corner?
Several other actors from the daytime drama, including Melissa Claire Egan, who plays Chelsea Newman and Melissa Ordway, who plays Abby Abbott, commented with their sincere wishes about the couple’s big milestone! It’s been an exciting weekend for the couple! Sending them all of the love as they enter another year of their relationship.
