CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers love starting the week off with surprises, and it looks like we have a couple of them coming, and it could make things interesting.
Genoa City has been building toward a Newman civil war for a while now, so calmer episodes where intense scenes aren’t the norm is a nice change of pace and allows us to refresh ourselves.
Things will pick up a little when Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) sits Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) down and share some truth with him.
It’s pretty obvious it’ll be something to do with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) or his thoughts on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), but maybe there’s another reason?
Speaking of reasons, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) have been getting pretty close, and Summer’s going to make a proposition to Kyle that may or may not be huge.
‘Young and the Restless’ are pretty sure this is a “we got you to watch” overhyped teaser, but then again, we could be wrong. Guess we’ll have to chat about that below, huh?

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 23: Summer Proposes To Kyle; Nick Tells Jack The Truth
Okay, since we just mentioned this it seemed only fair that we start off with it.
The whole idea that Summer presents Kyle with a proposition would naturally lead us to expect she’s going to break down and step into marriage again on her terms.
And she may. She’s her own women and she may just as quickly do an about-face on that scared look she gave Kyle.
But we think it’s going to be something else, and it’s not as complicated.
What if she’s going to ask him if he wants to get a dog?
Seriously, it’d be something for him to take care of and give her time to decide on the whole marriage and baby topic. Not to mention causing her parents to have a stroke or ten if they hear that.

Since we’re on the Summer and Kyle train, we’re going to continue it into this one, as we think Nick is going to come clean and lay everything he thinks about their relationship at Jack’s feet.
It’s the natural thing to do, especially after the discussion he had with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) on Friday’s episode.
He’s happy and he wants that for everyone else, and this is something he and Jack will agree on.
Though, Nick’s truth may have his fears and concerns for the two kids in this go around.
