CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are all set to kick off a new week and it looks like there’s going to be some more character-building as we get ready for the next phase of some storylines.
There are a couple of interesting moments in this episode, and two have the potential to go either way for the people involved.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 17: Jack wants answers
It’s been coming as Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)’s been mainly stepping back and allowing everyone to find their own way, but after talking with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) he’s going to start involving himself more.
To get things started, he’s going to have a not-so friendly chat with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) about his reasons for being in Genoa City and his history with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
We doubt Jack will gain much more than anyone else, but maybe a couple of things Tucker will say will strike him as curious.
What’ll hinder him is he’s not looking for something vague to tie them together, but that will also help him see things clearer than the others:
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 17: Sally’s choice
After agreeing to hear Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) out, it looks like Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will come to a decision about him and it could get interesting.
‘Young and the Restless’ expect her to choose Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) over Adam, but it’ll be a tough choice.
We think it’d add to the storyline if she’s able to break away from him and go her own way with far less stress than others have endured.
Of course, we could be completely wrong on this, but if she does walk away from him it’ll play into the next element.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 17: Sharon’s unsolicited advice
While he waits for the outcome with Sally, Nick will grab some coffee, and he’ll share what’s happening with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
This should be an interesting back and forth ass it looks like Sharon will give him advice whether he wants it or not, and we have a feeling it’ll be to have faith in Sally.
Sharon may not be her biggest fan, but she has good insight into her and she’ll try to soothe Nick while he waits while also defending Adam.
