CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers have been waiting for someone to break away from the Newman family, and it’s finally happened.
Of course, the fact that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) made this happened by constantly controlling and manipulating things and treating everyone, young children and his own family, as pawns is reaping what he’s sown is lost on him.
And because Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is breaking away, we expect things to get far worse before they get better.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For June 8: Victoria won’t be denied
With her declaration, Victoria effectively cut all the puppet string Victor uses and is ready to start fresh.
It’s a feat no one’s really done, as Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has come the closest, but he keeps coming back to do Victor’s bidding.
We expect Victoria to continue her run of freedom by informing Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) about her decision and that they need to work out a way for her to see their children.
Billy will take it as well as Victor and may do some of his own ranting and raving, but in the end, Victoria won’t bow to his pressure either and it’ll leave Billy searching for answers.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For June 8: Sharon’s the sounding board
Without anyone to turn to so he can vent, Nick will share Victoria’s announcement with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
Sharon isn’t going to like or agree with Victoria’s decision as she’ll correctly assume it’s because of Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), and she may even want to talk to Victoria, which means confront her or the two of them.
In the end, ‘Young and the Restless’ aren’t sure how much help she’ll be for Nick, but sometimes getting something out if the best medicine.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For June 8: Victor refuses to back down
Victor won’t accept Victoria’s decision, demonstrating what she’s said, and what we all know, to be true.
He’ll try to hide it behind a vow to protect his family at all costs and destroy Ashland, but Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will step in and try to calm him down.
Though to be fair, he ignores her advice more times than not under average circumstances, so we’re willing to bet he’ll brush aside anything she has to say now and go on the attack.
What lengths will Victor go to retain his control over Victoria? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
