CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers have been waiting for a possible dustup in the Newman family, and it looks like we’re going to get a tiny one between Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Not to be outdone, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is going to grill Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) over her affair with Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi), which there’s no evidence of an affair, of course.
When has one ever needed evidence in a daytime drama?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For June 29: Victor offers Adam a deal he can’t refuse
Yep, it looks like Victor may go full on Godfather gangster style and we guess it’s going to be trying to force Adam into going on the attack on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
At least, this is the only thing we can think of Victor would want from him, and Victor’s been chaffing over his son acting like a sleaze and follow his instructions.
We’re curious what Victor will use as leverage since Adam’s been following through on his promise to be a better person.
It’s possible that Victor will use Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan)’s freedom to push him. After all, Victor did get Chelsea to agree to his plan by threatening her son.
Since Victor’s made a recent living of threatening women and children to get his way, this wouldn’t surprise ‘Young and the Restless’ at all.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For June 29: Nikki wants the scoop
With father and son paired off, Nikki’s going to have her own fun as she’ll use the moment to dig into Victoria to learn what she can about her current relationship with Ashland.
Nikki would know a thing or two about going after men in power, so she’ll use all of her decades of knowledge to pry open Victoria and get what she wants.
We don’t think Victoria will buy into it, despite Nikki’s numerous attempts to coax and/or guilt her to open up.
In fact, we think Victoria may get a little testy that everyone’s so interested in her private life and talk will quickly turn to Victor and how this is probably his doing.
Nikki will deny it, but it’s not going to take any of Victoria’s steam away and this could be a fun segment.
