We hope there’s going to be more than a puff of smoke this time, as every revelation for the last year has fallen flat. When the build-up is better than the reveal, there’s a problem.

In what will reportedly be Robert Newman’s first appearance as Ashland Locke, he’s stepping in as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is going to press him on his cancer treatments and what it means.
There are plenty of theories going around about what Ashland’s really up to, and ‘Young and the Restless’ aren’t getting our hopes up for anything earth-shattering.
We’ve been let down every step of the way with the Ashland storyline from Victor and the family not blinking when he stole his best friend’s identity and left him to die to the wedding reveal.
Everything has been in too nice a bundle and we don’t expect that to change when Ashland comes clean again as it’ll just chip away at his mystique and make Victor look all the more imposing.

With Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) looking to help commemorate Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John)’s legacy, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will offer her help to make it as big a success as possible.
This should be a fun trip down memory lane with some flashbacks or stories Nikki will share as they begin working.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For February 9: Victoria Puts Her Foot Down
The first signs of a sibling power struggle are beginning and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will put her foot down and put Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in his place.
We can only guess this concerns him hiring Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) as his COO. Victoria won’t like that he did that without conferring with her and she’ll make a big deal out of the hierarchy.
We get the feeling she’s just going to push him because she can and because she wants to see if he’ll revert back to his old ways.
Kinda funny she’s worried about that, but she’s fine pretending she didn’t put herself under Victor’s influence again.
We’re sure things will end well.
