Nothing like kicking off a new week with some character-building moments that set the stage for the future, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are all set to dig in.
For the most part, this episode looks like it’s going to be a Chancellor Industries centric one as Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will take to rebrand the company and move forward.
Of course, that’ll create plenty of fun problems to deal with to make her doubt her efforts before she pushes through.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For February 28: Company Meeting
This feels like Lily will call for her new team to come together to get to know each other and share with them their actual roles going forward.
Until now, Lily’s offered some insight, but we’ve been on the outs more than not on that information. So, this will be a great chance for us to know what everything entails and it’ll help create some tension and drama among her new department heads.
‘Young and the Restless’ think this will be more along the lines of differing opinions, but it’ll be enough to make Lily question what she’s doing and to seek out some advice.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For February 28: Differing Views
We have a feeling part of the fallout from Lily’s meeting will involve her new legal team/department heads as Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) are going to have differing opinions on something.
There are plenty of possibilities here from Imani having second thoughts about working for Chancellor to the sisters disagreeing on who is who’s superior and everything in between.
Our guess is Imani will have her doubts about their move. She wasn’t as gung ho about working for Lily as Amanda was, and she may want to hold onto the autonomy their own law practice would’ve granted them.
But this is just a shot in the dark for us. What do you think their disagreement will be about?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For February 28: Jill Gives Lily Some Comfort
After what we’re assuming won’t be an ideal meeting of the minds, Lily will feel dejected and question her decisions.
Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will be her savior as she’ll give Lily some words of wisdom. We think it’ll involve the challenges she faced in taking over when Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) passed away.
She’ll explain there were all sorts of obstacles for her to overcome and she felt overwhelmed with everything, but she found a way.
Jill will share some of her tips for how she got through it, and one of those may be to let her people find their way to work within the boundaries she sets. Lily also has a great support system in place, and all she has to do is ask for advice.
This should be a touching pass the torch scene and we can’t wait to see it.
