CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that it looks like this week is going to have a few interesting back and forths to start things off, and the show is here with some spoilery fun.
As interesting as this sounds, it looks like Y&R may to suffer the same problems ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ faced the last few weeks with repetitive dialogue continuing this week.
At least, Y&R has broken it up with other scenes, but still, there’s only so much we can handle of Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) trying to convince Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) to take it easy.
At least him doing so makes sense given she’s recovering from surgery to remove her cancer, so we can give it a pass.
While Sharon has to deal with Rey’s insecurities (he can deny it all he wants, it is what it is), Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will extend an olive branch to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
This is going to be the trickiest moves of all considering what she has planned, but is there anytime a conversation in the Newman family isn’t tricky?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 31: Clear the air
Victor wants his children to understand that he loves them all and will help them to the best of his ability no matter what.
Unfortunately, Victoria and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) don’t understand him or why he helps Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) so much.
He’s tried to make them understand how important family is to him, and that Adam’s needed more help because he’s constantly getting into more trouble than they are.
As hard as Victor tries, ‘Young and the Restless’ don’t think Victoria is ready to listen to him, or that she ever will be.
She’s intent on proving herself, and she’ll destroy him and Adam to prove it.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 31: More warnings
Sharon’s been going above and beyond, and Rey is intent on making sure she doesn’t overdo it, and it makes sense given her condition.
Unfortunately, ‘Young and the Restless’ expect him to continue pushing her so hard that it may cost them their relationship.
Rey has made it clear his concern is about Sharon’s health, and it is for the most part, but he is definitely insecure at the moment.
And it’s mainly Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan)’s fault for spreading her own insecurity around.
The problem here is that Adam will be in the midst of spiraling out of control, and there’s no way Sharon’s going to turn her back on him.
This is going to be fun. Do you think Victor and Rey will succeed in their efforts?
