CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) is urging his fans to stay calm during the novel coronavirus outbreak. Here’s what he has to say.

Doing what his character Victor Newman would do on any given day, Eric is taking matters into his own hands by reaching out to his fans and urging calm. He wrote on Twitter, “Let’s not panic. We will all help each other. And all the support to your healthcare workers. And remember, wash your hands much more often, keep distance if need be, sanitize public surfaces as much as possible, and most of all, don’t panic and overstock, be kind to one another.”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for his fans to respond to his message. Quite a few of them left comments such as, “Yet let’s not panic. I went to the gym today and store yesterday. Let’s all stay positive. And be kind to each other. Well said Eric. You and your family stay safe,” along with, “Yes indeed we will. United we stand divide we fall.”

Another fan wrote, “No need to panic. Costco in Riverdale is rolling out products. Walmart in Apple Valley rolling out trucks. I’m un Yuma picking up fresh produce with hundreds of other trucks. Be patient! We will all get through this together. It’s not the end of the world.”

With that said, here’s hoping that everyone will continue to take ‘social distancing’ seriously, whether they want to or not and that this pandemic will finally curve and life will hopefully go back to normal. Well, at least as normal as it can be in a city like Genoa City, right?
