CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers say that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) has a haunting dream about her boyfriend Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) having sex with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). This is especially worrying for Elena, now that is has been established that Amanda is Hilary Curtis’ long lost twin sister. Here’s what you need to know.
In a new interview with Soap Opera Digest, Brytni Sarpy, who plays Elena on the hit CBS soap, says that she doesn’t want her boyfriend Devon to see this insecure side of her. That’s because she’s the kind of person who is always in control, for better or for worse.

Brytni tells the publication, “Elena is used to being confident and such a sound companion, that she wants to keep that façade with the man she loves. She’s trying to be her best self in the presence of Devon, instead of her true self. I think it’s complicated to be yourself in a relationship, especially as things are beginning to blossom.”
‘The Young and the Restless’ spoilers say that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will sense that something might be up and will call Elena and ask if she can help at the clinic. She says yes and gets there in no time. Later on, Elena will break down and confess her fears to Nate about Devon and Amanda.
Brytni continues, “Sometimes bonds between the opposite sex can be complex. It’s dangerous territory when she unloads her baggage onto Nate. The emotional weight of her issues with Devon is shared with Nate, creating a closeness that confuses their friendship.”
