CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) is freaking out that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is Hilary Curtis’ sister. She’s paranoid that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will fall in love with her or something or other, I don’t know.
Elena needs to relax and spend another day with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Oh wait, that’s every day. She’s worried that Amanda telling Devon that his late wife was related to her? Why? Is this the type of writing we should come to expect forever? It’s old and tiring and completely not relatable. I love my wife that passed, oh look! Someone who looks like her! She’s her sister? That’s it, I’m leaving everything I know and going to try to get her to fall in love with me! Save me.

Meanwhile, Elena hangs out with Nate every day, I get it, they’re working, but Devon isn’t the least bit worried because he trusts her. Something she sorely doesn’t exhibit. Is this going to lead to something serious? Perhaps Elena leaving Devon or the two of them breaking up over this? Because that would be utterly stupid. They need to fix this because it doesn’t make any sense.
