CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that soap stars are preparing for the upcoming 47thAnnual Daytime Emmy Awards, which airs on Friday night. In celebration, ‘Young and the Restless’ has dedicated this week to some of the shows biggest emmy-award winning moments. The emmy’s are some of these stars greatest career accomplishments, so as we roll into this next week, we can’t help but celebrate the brilliant actresses and actors.
The brilliant and beautiful Eileen Davidson, who plays Ashley Abbott on ‘Young and the Restless’, has won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her performance on both The Young and the Restless and Days of Our Lives, who she has played Kristen DiMera, Susan Banks, Sister Mary Moira, Penelope Kent, Thomas Banks. Ashley first debuted on The Young and the Restless back in 1982, and her first appearance on ‘Days of our Lives’ was in 1993. To say that she is a daytime veteran is an understatement.

Davidson first took the gold for her role in Days in 2014, and finally was awarded for all of her hard work in YR in 2018. To celebrate Davidson, ‘Young and the Restless’ shot and posted a sweet tribute to her on their Twitter. The video begins as a close up of Davidson in bed. She looks to be in a cute floral PJ set with her beautiful blond locks well done. She says that it’s an honor to have received the emmys, but that it hasn’t changed her life too much, because it’s always been about the acting for her. However, when the cameraman zooms out, it shows that she is lying in bed with both of her emmys. Davidson smirks looking as poised as ever! A great video to celebrating the week.
