CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that the entire world might be on the edge of their seats, not knowing what might come with the ongoing global pandemic that is the coronavirus, but apparently Doug Davidson is still thinking about his contract status over at ‘Young and the Restless’. As a matter of fact, while other daytime television stars are updating their fans on how they are doing while in self-isolation or encouraging their fans to practice social-distancing, that doesn’t seem to be the case with Doug, who plays Paul Williams on the hit CBS show. Instead, he is still just as concerned as his fans are about the lack of screen time that his character has been getting in recent weeks. Here’s what you need to know.

When one Twitter fan mentioned that it’s been weeks since we’ve last seen Paul Williams in action in Genoa City, Doug replied by calling himself “the invisible man.” Of course, this isn’t the first time that Doug has hinted that he is none too pleased about his lack of a full-time contract over at the series. His Twitter feed is full of concerned fans who can’t help but wonder why a veteran actor like Doug Davidson has seen such little time in front of the cameras lately.

A lot of the comments have included, “Yes, we definitely need more of Paul Williams! You get to see so much of Kyle and Billy and Nick everyday but almost nothing when it comes to Paul,” along with, “The list goes on and on but there’s so much of Summer yet you don’t see much of Victor or Paul Williams. This has to change.”

So far producers of ‘Young and the Restless’ have made no comments about Paul’s future or if Doug will receive a new contract in the coming months. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on the CBS network. Check your local listings for times. In the meantime, leave us a comment below with your thoughts.
