CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that while we might be looking at the end of the quarantine soon in many states, we may be getting our current storyline back on track. However, that also means all the silly stories we were following. For instance, the hotel battle currently raging between Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) over The Grand Phoenix.
Phyllis managed to blackmail Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) with an audio recording of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) admitting to killing someone in Las Vegas. She gained control of the hotel and Abby vowed to build a bigger, better hotel across the street, because, soap operas. However, there’s been a lot of back and forth between the two still with construction and city ordinances. Now, Phyllis believes she has the best idea to shut her down for good. Dinosaur bones! Again, because of soap operas.
CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Don’t Forget Phyllis’ Stupid Dinosaur Bone Idea
While Phyllis sat at the bar talking to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), he explained he was building a new warehouse in Washington state, however, construction had to be stopped because they found dinosaur fossils on the property. He told her is could halt construction for weeks, months or if they find more they could have to find a new property.
This lights a bulb above Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)‘s head. Her crazy, silly head. She has a new plan to shut down Abby’s hotel construction. Fake, dinosaur bones. Or, maybe even real fossils. I’m sure she could find a way to get her hands on them. I’m also guessing that this will happen, for the simple reason that they couldn’t have another set for a new hotel that will be open for a few months right? Especially after coming back from quarantine. So, the big question is, where will the fossils come from and how will Phyllis get her hands on them? What do you think?
