CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready to close the week out, and we’re going to have some emotional turmoil to help pave the way.

With the show switching gears from the current investigation to give us a breather, we’re going to get some potentially interesting relationships imploding and beginning that could lead to some fun interactions.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Rubbing Billy the wrong way

We’re not sure Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) is going to fall for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) just yet, but it seems like the most likely focus of her working with Billy so closely.

Chelsea has a habit of crushing on any guy that’s exceedingly nice to her and give her help, and that could be what’s going to happen here.

It’s a pattern she’s followed since, well, she follows it. Now Billy will be put in an uncomfortable business.

‘Young and the Restless’ don’t think it’ll be anything overt, but more like an accidental bump or comment that’ll remind Billy how much he cares for her.

We hope it won’t go any further than this, but that’s not how the show works so it’s time to set the countdown clock to either a tearful breakup or a revenge filled reaction.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Elena’s had enough

It looks like we’re going to start the fight for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) off with a bang when Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) confronts him about Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose).

We’re going out on a limb here and say she’ll walk in on them chatting or wait for Nate to come home. The main bone will be how Nate seems to have no problem dropping everything for Naomi while Elena’s waiting.

Then there’s how Imani continues to encourage Nate to follow his instinct and make big splashes. While that is more Nate’s style, the fact he does it and Imani enjoys it so much will be something on Elena’s mind.

We have no doubt Nate will try to talk her down and explain things. For him, it’s pretty much being a good friend and Imani’s a breath of fresh air, so to speak. Someone outside the bubble he feels he can talk to.

Or course, Elena won’t think it’s so innocent, especially considering how she and Nate first got together.

There’s a couple of ways things can go, and we’re expecting them to be a slow burn that’ll wear us out before they circle back again.

Do you think Chelsea and Imani will get their way? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
