Well, well, well, it looks like CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers get to play with a couple of potential plot twists to close the week out.
We’re holding back our enthusiasm as these could be minor, but just in case they aren’t, we’re set to stir up some trouble just for the sake of it.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For July 22: Sharon’s loyalty is questioned
This is a curious angle and we assume it’s going to lead to another bump in the road in Sharon Newman (Sharon Case)’s marriage since Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will question her loyalty.
Not to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) but to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
We’re not sure where this is going, but it’s possible, make that probable, that he’s looking to cut Adam off any attacks he may have in mind.
In doing so, it looks like Billy may have doubts as to why she’s so loyal to Adam and put her marriage at risk previously.
Sharon won’t appreciate that but ‘Young and the Restless’ are more curious what’s behind Billy’s actions.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For July 22: Elena won’t back down
As luck would have it, every time Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) happens upon Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) happens in to reaffirm she and Nate are together.
This will be no different as she’ll once again stand her ground and refuse to let Imani intimidate her into surrendering any part of Nate’s attention.
Things are going to come to a head at some point, and while it’ll mostly be between the women, Nate had better watch himself or he’s going to be caught in the middle for not rebuking Imani’s overtures.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For July 22: Ashland’s found out
We mentioned it previously that it’s possible Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) is faking his illness to try to take over Newman Enterprises, and that’s the first thing that comes to mind here.
After all, what else would a “shocking discovery” be for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)?
To be fair, we don’t see any reason to not expect something like that is up after Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) forced him to sell or not leave the ranch alive, but what if it’s something else?
This show loves to dangle the big teases and give us something touching or even mundane.
In this case, she could discover he likes to pain or do something creative on the side, and given his intense nature that could be shocking.
