CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) are going to share a passionate kiss after she has another nightmare about her ex, Ripley. And before the two of them know it, they are waking up beside each other. So could this be the beginning of perhaps an exciting but also complicated romance? Here’s what you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor Jason Thompson, who plays Billy on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “They are trying to figure out what this all means. Even though they haven’t known each other for long, they still have a pretty complicated relationship.”

But with that said, it doesn’t look like either one of them is trying too hard to apologize for what happened. In fact, it’s quite the opposite as ‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers say that the next morning, the two of them are still in each other’s arms the next day. In fact, Amanda stirs a little and finds herself right next to Billy but doesn’t attempt to pull away. That’s because she’s in the exact place that she wants to be!
Jason added, “When they wake up together, Billy realizes there’s a certain amount of comfort they share with each other. Still, I don’t think either one of them is very good at explaining their feelings.”
With that said, it will be interesting to see exactly where this relationship goes in the coming weeks. Victoria Newman (Amelie Heinle) will probably be more hurt than shocked when she finds out about this, especially if Amanda and Billy go public. Needless to say, ‘Young and the Restless’ fans will have to tune in to find out what happens next!
